Mindfulness Groups
What if you could spend more time in the present moment? The only place where joy and happiness can happen. The demands of modern life often take us away from being in the moment-whether it is worrying about the future, regretting the past or distracting our selves from being here right now (e.g. cellphones/social media, tv, alcohol). Cultivating mindfulness opens the door to greater self-knowledge, richer life experience, and wider options in life.
What is mindfulness?
Mindfulness is moment-to-moment awareness without judgment. It calls for the practitioner to attempt to be fully present right now while acknowledging and accepting thoughts, feelings, and body sensation as they are perceived.
